The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is pleased to announce that Police Chief, Stephen Fruen will be attending the OSBI Investigation Agents Academy.

The 8 weeks of premier training is focused primarily on Criminal Investigation Techniques.

All instructors are experts in the field will be presenting training as well as outside guest speakers.

Training will include subjects from White Collar Crimes, Crime Scene Investigation, Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, Interview and Interrogation of witnesses and suspects, Crimes Against Children, AFT/Arson Investigation, Digital/Video Analysis (The Lab for OSBI) Forensic Science Center, Technical Investigations, Oil Field, Auto Theft, Surveillance Techniques and “Hands om” practical exercises and much more.

The training will also include case studies of closed cases with break-down of techniques incorporated in real world investigations.

“I am honored to be chosen to attend the OSBI Agents Academy,” said Fruen, who has began his career at the Poteau Police Department in 2002 and has been police chief since 2012.
