According to the Poteau Police Department Facebook page, a scam a scam targeting local businesses and residents involving OG&E has been circulating the area.
A subject will call informing you that your bill is overdue, and he is going to shut off your electric. The subject will then give you a 1-800 number to call to dispute the claim.
This is NOT the number to OG&E Customer Service.
Please do not give any account information over the phone.
