Poteau principal promotes CTE to students

More than 100 Poteau High School students attend Kiamichi Technology Centers every year, and Principal Joe Ballard would send more if he could, he told District Administration, which offers print and digital media for K-12 school districts.

“You don’t have to go to college to make a good living,” Ballard said.

Recent state legislation makes it possible for more students to take courses at technology centers, said Michael Culwell, KTC Spiro and Poteau campus director.
