Poteau SEC January 2025 Students of the Month

Poteau SEC (7^th & 8^th Grade Center) has announced the January 2025 Students of the Month (SOM).

The 7^th grade SOM are Bea Newman and Tyler Wood. The 8^th grade SOM are Lylah Lum and Brodee Breashears.

Bea is the daughter of Ryan Newman. Her electives are Band, FACS, and STEM. She likes school because “I get to spend time with my friends and learn things I didn’t know before”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tyler is the son of David and Cynthia Wood. His electives are athletics: basketball & baseball and STEM: robotics. He likes school because “I get to play sports and see my friends”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lylah is the daughter of Ashley and Jeffrey Lum. Her electives are library worker, choir, and stage craft. She likes school because “It is a great way to learn new skills and hang out with friends”. Lylah is a member of Gifted & Talented, Student Council, NJHS, Academic Team, Library Staff, and Cheerleading.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brodee is the son of Jeri Myers and Danny Wayne Breashears. His electives are STEM, media, and FACS. He likes school because of “my friends and the teachers”.
