In January 2019 the people of Poteau voted in a $14,875000.00 Bond to construct, furnish, equip, and/or acquire a 7th and 8th Grade Center with Cafeteria and Safe Room and also construct, furnish, equip, and/or acquire a new High School Classroom Building with Safe Room.
Progress is coming along nicely.
According to Poteau School Superintendent, Don Sjoberg – “construction is on time and under budget.”
