OKLAHOMA CITY – State Rep. Rick West, R-Heavener, this week recognized members of the Leadership LeFlore County 2021 Class in the Oklahoma House of Representatives
Reps. Randy Randleman, R-Eufaula, and Eddy Dempsey, R-Valliant, as well as Sen. Mark Allen, R-Spiro, also greeted the class.
“This is such a fantastic group of young people with drive and determination to make our communities better,” West said. “It was great to have them visit the Capitol and get to recognize them in the House.”
West said he especially wanted to thank Karen Wages, the president and CEO of the Poteau Chamber of Commerce, for her help in sponsoring the leadership program.
Members of Leadership LeFlore County take part in seven classes held throughout the county and attend the field trip to the State Capitol. The class curriculum teaches the functions of management and types of leadership skills in an attempt to enhance productivity and the networking connections to achieve goals.
