I believe we are called to serve others; and after visiting with business leaders and residents, I’m answering the call of service by being a candidate for Poteau City Council Ward 4-Seat 1.
I’m no stranger to serving my community. Having served on the Board of Directors for the Poteau Chamber of Commerce, and my current service as a board member for the LeFlore County Crisis Center and Trustee for the CASC Development Foundation, I’ve helped create pathways for opportunities to improve lives. This service to our community combined with my professional career, has equipped me with the knowledge and experience needed to help guide the city forward.
I believe my broad professional experience will bring a new approach to addressing the needs of our city. In my current role as a program director, we are bringing quality job opportunities and trainings to our area. This experience will equip me to make the right decisions in guiding the city towards the growth we need.
In short, I am running to offer the citizens of Poteau an opportunity to introduce a fresh perspective in working to move our city forward. I ask for your vote on April 1.
