Assistant Poteau Police Chief received his 25 years of service pin for his work with the Poteau Police Department.
Poteau Mayor Scotty White presented Russell his service pin at the September 3, 2019 city council meeting. “Greg is a tremendous asset to the department as well to the city,” said Mayor White.
In other Personel business, the council also approved a recommendation by the Personnel Committee and approved several employees for full-time benefits.
Those employees are:
Sharbert Thompson- Cemetery
Austin Brooks – Cemetery
Bryce Odom – PARC
Jeremy Branscum – PARC
The board also accepted the Personnel Committee’s recommendation and accepted the retirement of Jeff Shockley as Plain Administrator/ Emergency Management effective as of August 30, 2019.
