According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a njury collision occurred on September 11, 2021 at approximately 4pm on Oklahoma Highway 43, .2 miles west of Cane Break Rd, approximately 8 miles east of Stringtown, OK in Atoka County.
According to the report, a 2006 Chevy Pickup driven by Lee Lane, 50, of Smithville, was westbound on SH43, departed the roadway to the right, overcorrected and departed the roadway to the left. The vehicle struck an embankment and rolled one time. According to the report, Lane was ejected from the vehicle an unknown distance.
Lane was transported by Air Care to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Admitted in critical condition with multiple injuries.
