On Monday, June 11, 2018 Lundy Kiger officially received an endorsement from Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce.
We have a very in-depth vetting process, with each candidate. Kiger has business and real world expertise, said Cordon DeKock, VP of Political Affairs, who met with Kiger at the Coffee Cup in Poteau with the announcement.
“This organization endorses candidates from all parties that meets this organization’s qualifications and who demonstrates each in their professional lives. I’m honored to be selected by this group,” said Kiger. “I will work hard at being an effective leader in this House for District 3 and the State of Oklahoma. Your vote will help get me there to begin our work.”
The Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce was established in 1926. Their purpose is to ensure that those creating public policy hear the voice of their members before they cast their vote.
The State Chamber represents small business owners, large companies, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations and not-for-profit organizations.
“We represent 1600 businesses throughout Oklahoma. 85% of those are small businesses. One out of every four workers – work for one of these businesses,” said DeKock.
