According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, an Antlers man was airlifted after being involved in a one vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 6pm, on January 28, 2019 on a county road, 1.5 miles west of Antler Oklahoma in Pushmataha County.
According to the report, a 1998 Toyota Sienna driven by Micah Byers, 20 of Antlers, was traveling westbound on county road 1910 at an unsafe speed, when the vehicle departed the roadway to the left and struck a tree.
Byers was pinned for approximately 30 minutes and was extracted by Antlers Fire Department using the Hurst Tool.
He was transported by Air Evac to Plano Medical Center in Plano, TX and was Admitted in critical condition with truck, head and leg injuries.
