Arkansas woman injured in accident in Latimer County Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a one vehicle accident with injuries occurred on March 2, 2019 at approximately 2:54 pm on State Highway 2.

 

The accident occurred 2.4 miles north of State Highway 63 and approximately 10.5 miles south of Wilburton in Latimer County.

 

According to the report, a 2006 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Melissa Harmon 36, from Oden, Arkansas was northbound on SH2, departed the road to right stuck a guard and rolled down an embankment.

 

Harmon was transported to McAlester Regional Health Center in McAlester, OK then transferred to St John Hospital in Tulsa, OK and was listed in stable condition with head injuries.

 

The accident was investigated by the OHP, Latimer County Sheriff’s Office, Buffalo Valley Fire Department, Veterans Colony Fire Department and Leflore County EMS.
