According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a fatality collision occurred August 2, 2017 approximately 6:38 pm on a county road 8.4 mile north and .7 miles east of Broken Bow in McCurtain County.

 

According to the report, Melody Danielle Angel-Bunch, 34, of Broken Bow, OK driving a 2007 Hyundai, was pronounced dead at the scene from head, arm, leg, trunk-internal and trunk-external injuries after she failed to negotiate a curve, then ran off left side of roadway and struck a tree.

 

The accident was Investigated by the OHP, Hochatown Fire Department and Oklahoma State Park Rangers.
