Caddo man injured in accident west of Mead Featured

On May 11, 2017 at approximately 5:53pm, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were dispatched to a one vehicle injury accident that occurred on United State Highway 70.


The accident occurred six miles west of Mead.

 

According to the report a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by John K. Green 39, of Caddo, was westbound on US70 when his vehicle went left of center and exited on the South side of the road striking the guardrail. The vehicle then went back across the highway exiting the North side of the road striking another guardrail before coming to rest.


Green was transported by Air-Evac to Plano Medical Center in Plano, Texas and was admitted with head and trunk internal injuries.


According to the report the condition of the driver: Odor of Alcohol and the Cause of Collision is still under investigation.

 

The accident was investigated by OHP, the West Bryan County Fire Department, and Bryan County EMS.
