Calera Man injured in accident in Bryan County Featured

At 9:50 am on June 14, 2017 the Oklahoma Highway Patrol worked an injury accident that occurred on State Highway 78, approximately .3 miles east of Achille In Bryan County.

 

According to the report, a 1985 Peterbilt driven by Tommy Dowd 37, of Calera, was traveling north on SH78 entered a curve, and then he departed roadway to the right and overturned before coming to a rest.


Dowd was transported by Air Evac to Plano Medical Center in Plano, Texas. He was admitted in serious condition with Head, leg, arm, trunk internal and trunk external injuries.

 

The accident was investigation by the OHP and assisted by Bryan County Sheriff’s office, Achille Police Department, and Achille Fire Department.
