According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a fatality collision occurred on Feb 18, 2020 at approximately 12:00 pm on State Highway 2, .2 miles east of County Road 4300, approximately 2 miles south of Clayton, OK in Pushmataha County.

According to the report, a 2013 Nissan Sentra driven by Deborah Broomfield 68, of Wilburton was traveling Northbound on State Highway 2 and went left of center and struck a  2018 Ford Pickup driven by Jason Pope 40, of Ennis, TX was traveling southbound on State Highway 2.

Broomfield was pronounced dead at the scene due to head, trunk external and trunk internal injuries.

She was transported by Serenity Funeral Home to their facility in Antlers, OK.

Pope was transported by Pushmataha County EMS to Pushmataha County Hospital in Antlers.

He was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal injuries.
