According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Fatality collision occurred 12-25-18 at approximately 12:33 am on private property, 3 miles west of Bokchito, OK in Bryan County.
According to the report, a 2013 Honda Rancher ATV driven by John Thomas 52, of Bokchito, was going down a steep trail and rolled ¼ time. Thomas was thrown approximately 6 feet.
Thomas left his residence on 12-24-18 at approximately 9:30 pm and was located on 12-25-18 at approximately 12:33 am.
He was pronounced dead at the scene from head and trunk-internal injuries.
Medical Examiner LeRoy Johnson responded to the scene. Transported by Brown’s Funeral Home to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City, OK.
The accident is still under investigation.
