According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a fatal motorcycle accident occurred on August 19, 2018 at Fatality collision occurred 10:00pm on a County Road four miles North of Harris in McCurtain County.
According to the report a 2005 Harley Davidson driven by Tommy Cockerham,62 of Haworth was southbound on a county road, ran of roadway to the left and for some unknown reason and struck the ground. Cockerham was ejected from the motorcycle a distance of 6 feet.
He was pronounced dead at the scene from head injuries and transported by Clardy Funeral Home in Idabel, OK.
