According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a fatality accident occurred Oct 10, 2021 at approximately 1:20 pm on OK-113 approximately 6.6 miles south of Indianola, in Pittsburg county.
According to the OHP report, a 2007 Chevy pickup, driven by Lawrence Snow, age 59, from McAlester, was northbound on OK-113, failed to negotiate a curve, departed roadway to the right, overcorrected causing the vehicle to roll one complete time coming to rest on its wheels and ejecting Snow approximately 10 feet.
Snow was pronounced deceased at collision scene.
The accident was investigated by OHP, Shady Grove Fire Department, Bugtussle Fire Department, McAlester Fire Department and Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Department.
