According to a press release from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, on April 7, 2018, Keri Hoffman, and her husband arrived at the Clinton Police Department.

 

The husband told Clinton Police Officers that Keri confessed to him that she was having a sexual affair with a 15-year-old male student of hers.

 

Keri told officers she had been having a sexual affair with a 15-year-old male. Keri was a teacher at Clinton Public Schools and the male was a student of hers.

 

Clinton Police Officers then requested OSBI investigative services.

 

On Sunday April 8, 2018, the OSBI arrested Keri in Clinton, OK.

 

On November 5, 2018, Keri pled guilty to all charges in the case.

 

On December 17, 2018, Keri was sentenced by District Judge Doug Haught.

 

She was sentenced to fifteen years with the first seven to be served in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and the remainder of the sentence suspended.
