According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, at approximately 11am on July 12, 2018, a 4-year-old Eufaula boy drowned at the South Point area on Lake Eufaula in McIntosh County.

 

According to the report, the child has a history of wondering off from the residence.

His Step-dad came in from work around 3:30 am and noticed the boy in bed asleep. Mother and step dad awoke around 10:30 am to find the residence door open and the juvenile male missing.

A search of the area began, and a Eufaula Firefighter located the juvenile’s body against the shoreline approximately 150 yards west of a residence in the South Point area of Lake Eufaula.

 

The accident was Investigated by OHP, the Eufaula Fire Department and the McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office.
