Ft Smith man injured on I40 east of Warner Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, an injury collision occurred on November 7, 2020 at approximately 1:08 pm on Interstate -40 at the  Warner Exit (MM 278) approximately .01 miles east of Warner, Oklahoma in Muskogee County                                                                                      

According to the report, 2003 Ford Expedition driven by Randy Evans, 56 of Ft. Smith ,Arkansas  was westbound on the inside lane of I-40 when the back-passenger tire had a blowout causing him to lose control and over corrected vehicle went into a broad side departing the roadway to right at the warner exit.

The vehicle then Rolled two times ejecting the driver approximately 48ft.

Evans was flown to St Francis Tulsa with Head, Leg, Trunk Internal and External injuries.

His passengers, Brandie Evans 29 of Ft. Smith, Arkansas refused treatment, a 8-year-old and one year old were not injured.
