According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle accident with injuries occurred on March 2, 2019 at approximately 12:37 am on State Highway 31, approximately 100 feet east of Quinton in Pittsburg County.

 

According to the report, 2014 Chevy pickup, driven by Jacob Ary, 28, from Kinta was traveling eastbound on SH31 and 2017 Nissan 4D, driven by Dylan Holland, 25, from Stigler was traveling westbound, when the pickup truck went left of center and struck the Nissan head-on.

Ary refused treatment at the scene, his three-year-old passenger was treated and released at the scene.

 

Holland, who was driving the Nissan was transported by Pafford EMS to Mercy Hospital Ft Smith and was listed in stable condition with multiple injuries.

 

According to the OHP report, the condition of Ary was DUI drug and the cause of collision was – left of center.

 

Seat belts – equipped and in use except by Ary.

Airbags – equipped and deployed.

Accident was investigated by OHP.
