Injury accident in Haskell County Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, an injury collision occurred on June 30, 2018 at approximately 1:07 am on State Highway71, just north of County Road E 1260, approximately 2 miles south of Enterprise, OK in Haskell County.


According to the report, a 2017 Ford F350 driven by Kevin Etchison 40, of Quinton was south bound on SH71 when the he failed to negotiate a curve to the right, came off the west edge of the highway, struck a fence, then came to rest on top of a natural gas well.


Etchison was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee by Pafford EMS, then life flighted to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was admitted in stable condition with head injuries.


His passenger, Reese Rowten 23, was transported to Choctaw Nation Hospital in Talihina by private own vehicle where he was treated and released.


According to the report the condition of the driver was – Impaired and the condition of driver was – Alcohol related.


The accident was investigated by OHP, Porum Police Department, Haskell County Sheriff’s Office, Pafford EMS, and Brooken Fire Department.
