Champion of education and workforce development returning to alma mater to deliver inspiring graduation message

(STILLWATER, Okla., April 16, 2026) — Joe Eastin, executive chairman of ISN Software Corporation, will serve as Oklahoma State University’s spring 2026 commencement speaker.

An Oklahoma native, Eastin earned a bachelor’s degree in business from OSU before completing a Master of Business Administration at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.

“We are honored to welcome Joe Eastin as our spring commencement speaker,” OSU President Jim Hess said. “Joe embodies the Cowboy Code through integrity, resilience and service. His commitment to student success and workforce readiness continues to shape opportunities for future generations of OSU graduates.”

Eastin, who was inducted into the Spears School of Business Hall of Fame in 2012 and the OSU Hall of Fame in 2019, co-founded ISN in 2001. The Dallas-based contractor and supplier information management company supports leading organizations around the world. Since its launch, ISN has grown to serve more than 100,000 customers across more than 90 countries, employing more than 1,000 people globally.

Eastin and his wife, Monica, also have championed life-changing education and workforce development initiatives. Their support established the Eastin Center for Career Readiness at the Spears School of Business, strengthening career preparation and professional development for students.

Being asked to participate in OSU’s graduation ceremonies is a tremendous honor,” Eastin said. “My 22-year-old self never would have imagined returning to speak at commencement, making this a meaningful full-circle moment. The impact OSU had on me continues to shape my career and inspires my commitment to give back as others begin their journeys.”

Eastin’s civic service includes roles on the MIT Sloan Americas Executive Board, the Bush Center Executive Advisory Board, the Momentous Institute board and the board of the Episcopal School of Dallas, where the Eastin family endowed the WORX Internship Program.

Eastin is a member of YPO Lonestar Gold and the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, supporting mental health and education initiatives for underserved youth.
