OKLAHOMA CITY — An inmate who walked away Oct. 15 from Mack Alford Correctional Center’s minimum unit is back in custody.
U.S. Marshals located Alvaro Rodriguez in Kansas City, Kansas, Wednesday afternoon. He walked away from MACC’s minimum-security yard.
Rodriguez will be headed back to Oklahoma soon to finish serving sentences for stolen vehicle possession, having a sawed-off shotgun/rifle, drug possession, and committing a felony with a firearm that had its serial number removed.
He also faces a charge related to his escape from the prison, which is located in Stringtown in Atoka County.
