Man injured in motorcycle wreck in Creek County Featured

At approximately 1:44 pm, on July 2, 2017, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were called to motorcycle accident that occurred 311th Street South, three tenths of a mile west of 369th West Avenue, eight miles south of Bristow, OK in Creek County.


According to the OHP, a 2008 Harley Davidson Road King motorcycle driven by Omer Rose Jr 64, of Bristow was traveling eastbound on 311th Street South, swerved to miss a deer that had entered the roadway. Rose then lost control of the bike laying it down.

The motorcycle then departed the roadway coming to rest in the ditch.


Rose was transported by Creek County EMS to St. Francis Hospital Tulsa and was admitted stable condition with leg injuries.


The accident was investigated by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
