According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a Mangum woman was injured in a one vehicle accident that occurred on August 1, 2019 at 7:02 am on State Hwy 9, just one mile west of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma in Kiowa County.
According to the report, 1992 Oldsmobile driven by Carrie Griffis, 56 of Mangum, was eastbound on State Hwy 9 and departed roadway right and collided with a guardrail.
She was transported by Sinor EMS to Elkview Hospital in Hobart, Oklahoma and later transferred by Air Evac to OU Trauma center and admitted in critical condition with trunk internal injuries.
