According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a motorcycle accident occurred on Oct 28, 2018 at approximately 9;19 am on Newberry Creek, one mile from Mead, in Bryan County.
The accident occurred when a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Joseph M. White, age 51 of Mead was southbound on county road Newberry Creek and ran off the roadway to the right and struck a boulder, according to the OHP report.
Mead was transported by Air Evac 65 to Medical City Plano in Plano, Texas with internal trunk injuries and was listed in stable condition.
