MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Jose Sebastian-Bello, age 51, of Mexico, entered a guilty plea to ILLEGAL Reentry Of Previously Removed Alien, a crime punishable by not more than 10 years imprisonment, a fine up to $250,000.00, or both.

 

The Indictment alleges that on or about October 1, 2018, in the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the defendant, Jose Sebastian-Bello, a/k/a Victor Antonio Martinez, a/k/a Anthony Casen, a/k/a Victor Martinez-Gonzalez, a/k/a Jose Antonio-Ignacio, a/k/a Lorenzo Castro Romero, a/k/a Mario Diago Diego, an alien, was found to be knowingly in the United States after having been removed from the United States on or about June 10, 2015, at or near Laredo, Texas, and not having obtained the express consent of the Attorney General of the United States or the Secretary of Homeland Security to reapply for admission into the United States.

 

The charges arose from an investigation by the Ardmore Police Department and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

 

The Honorable Steven P. Shreder, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, in Muskogee, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report.

 

Assistant United States Attorney Dean Burris represented the United States.
