On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the OBN Human Trafficking Unit arrested two people at an apartment in Oklahoma City as part of an investigation linked to the trafficking of two juvenile females. OBN Spokesman Mark Woodward said the investigation started after the agency received information in July of this year. "OBN's investigation confirmed evidence that Tony Ray Polly (DOB 6/3/1994) and Latavia Sharay Robins (DOB 6/7/2001) would post ads featuring the juveniles on commercial sex web sites and arrange dates with the clients and these juvenile victims at a northwest metro apartment." Polly and Robins both face a variety of Human Trafficking-related charges.
OBN Agents recovered the juvenile victims, and they are currently receiving assistance. OBN Director Donnie Anderson wants other victims to know they are not alone. "We are grateful the victims in this case had the courage to speak out, and we want other victims to know they don't have to be afraid. Oklahoma has outstanding partnerships with service providers who are ready to assist victims."
