On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, OBN Agents served a Search Warrant at 20202 Cherokee Way LLC, in Lexington, Oklahoma for running a marijuana growing operation without an active OBN Registration and ties to an ongoing OBN investigation involving the fraudulent establishment of numerous other marijuana businesses. OBN Agent seized over 6,000 marijuana plants and several pounds of processed marijuana. Arrests are pending.

Since 2021, OBN has shut down more than 2,500 marijuana grows, arrested over 250 individuals and seized over 975,000 pounds of marijuana as part of criminal investigations for operating with a license obtained by fraud and/or growing for the out-of-state black market.

As a result of these OBN enforcement efforts, Oklahoma’s medical marijuana program has seen a drastic reduction in the number of criminal organizations operating illegal farms in Oklahoma. OBN Registrations for growers dropped from 9,400 in 2021, to 6,400 in 2022, and today that number is down to approximately 3,200.
