OHP seeks public's help with Seminole County fatality Featured

On Saturday, July 29, 2017 before 4:30 a.m., the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a report of a person lying in the roadway near Seminole.

 

The exact location was .8 miles west of Seminole on U.S. Highway 270 in Seminole County.

 

Upon arrival, Troopers found 26-year-old white male Coty Ray Rush of Norman deceased at the scene.

 

OHP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating anyone who was with Coty Rush at any time during the day on Friday, July 28, or in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 29.

 

Preliminary information leads the OHP to believe he may have been at a birthday gathering near Seminole Friday evening. His vehicle was located about two miles from where his body was found. OHP believes a vehicle struck him.
