Commissioner Thompson Attends Governor Bowman Swearing-In, Meets with Federal Officials

Oklahoma Bank Commissioner Mick Thompson attended the March 6, 2019, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System swearing-in ceremony for new Board Member Michelle "Miki" Bowman.
Before being appointed to the Board of Governors, Bowman served as the Kansas Bank Commissioner.
She became the first person to fill the community bank seat on the Federal Reseve Board, assuming the unexpired fourteen-year term of Stanley Fischer which expires on January 31, 2020.
She was confirmed by the US Senate last November.
The swearing-in event was attended by many dignitaries, several of whom Thompson was able to visit with regarding topics pertinent to the banking industry.
