Brandon Weibel, a Silo High School senior, recently talked to News 9 about his journey to becoming the national president of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.
Weibel was elected national president during the 2024 FCCLA National Leadership Conference. He previously served as Oklahoma FCCLA president and state vice president of development.
He told the Oklahoma City news station about FCCLA, what it does and how it prepares students for life. He also talked about his experiences traveling the country as national president and the support he receives in his hometown.
FCCLA is one of seven CareerTech student organizations. It is affiliated with family and consumer sciences education.
