According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, an Oklahoma City woman dies in a one vehicle accident that occurred on January 6, 2020 at 3:47pm, on Interstate -40, Eastbound at mile marker 233, approximately 4 miles West of Henryetta, in Okfuskee County.
According to the report, a 2017 Black Hyundai Elantra, driven by Jamie Atkinson, 36, from Oklahoma City, left the roadway to the right in excess of 700 ft before striking a tree
The accident was investigated by OHP, Henryetta Fire department and EMS.
