OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma Today, the state’s official magazine published by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, received 14 awards at the 44th annual International Regional Media Association Awards in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“We’re so proud of the Oklahoma Today team for their exceptional work and talent in telling Oklahoma’s stories in a way that connects with an international audience,” said Shelley Zumwalt, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department. “This team, led by Nathan Gunter, are some of the most dedicated professionals I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with and it’s wonderful to see their excellent storytelling recognized.”

The International Regional Media Association recognizes the best in regional magazine journalism, photography, illustration and design.

For the 11th time, Oklahoma Today was honored as Magazine of the Year, circulation 34,999 or less. It also won Magazine of the Year in 1991, 1993, 1994, 1996, 2005, 2010, 2012, 2018, 2020 and 2021.
