One man injured in accident near Broken Bow Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a motorcycle and car accident occurred on June 18, 2021 at approximately 3:15pm on United States Highway 70 at Pleasant Valley Road, approximately .5 south of Broken Bow, OK in McCurtain County.

According to the report, a 2006 Toyota Scion driven by Patricia Bray, age 74, ok Broken Bow, OK was attempting to crossover from Pleasant Valley RD onto US 70 and a 2016 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by Jacob McKinney, age 26, of Idabel was southbound on US70OK.

The Toyota was struck by the motorcycle in the left lane of the southbound side of US70.

McKinney was transported by Air Evac at St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, AR and was admitted in

stable condition with head, arm and leg injuries.

The cause of the collision was failure to yield to a stop sign.

The accident was investigated by OHP, McCurtain County Sheriff’s Dept., Broken Bow Police Dept., McCurtain County, EMS, Air Evac and Broken Bow Fire Dept.
