OSBI Helps Investigate Guthrie Homicide Featured

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation special agents and Guthrie Police detectives are collaborating to solve a homicide that occurred on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in Guthrie.


Just after midnight on April 4th, someone called 9-1-1 to report shots being fired at a residence in Guthrie.


When officers arrived, they found Joey Angelo 24, of Guthrie, shot multiple times on the front porch of the residence.


Angelo was transported to OU Medical Center where doctors pronounced him dead.


OSBI special agents have spent Wednesday collecting information from witnesses at the home and evidence from the crime scene as they develop suspects in the case.


No arrests have been made at this time.
