According to the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation, on Friday, March 16, 2018 just before 8am, a man checking his cattle in Pontotoc County discovered a dead body.
He called the sheriff’s office who, in turn, called the medical examiner’s office and the OSBI for assistance.
The medical examiner’s office has transported the body to its Oklahoma City office for an autopsy and identification.
OSBI special agents documented the scene and collected evidence.
OSBI forensic analysts will process the evidence at the OSBI Forensic Science Center.
