OSBI Investigates Seminole Homicide Featured

On Saturday, December 29, 2018, Seminole Police Department requested OSBI investigate a homicide.

 

At around 1:53pm, Seminole Police Department received a 911 call of a shooting that occurred at 1200 Timmons St, Seminole.

 

The resident, Curtis Kasinger, 33, reported he shot Jarvis Berry ,31, during an altercation.

 

Kasinger was detained without incident and Berry was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Throughout the day and into the night on Saturday, OSBI agents conducted interviews and completed a crime scene investigation.

 

Kasinger was arrested and booked into the Seminole County Jail for Murder in the Second Degree.

 

The Medical Examiner’s Office will autopsy Berry’s body and determine cause and manner of death.

 

Once the investigation is completed, a comprehensive report will be given to the Seminole County District Attorney’s Office.
