OSBI Special Agents Arrest Woodward Police Detective Featured

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the Ellis County District Attorney requested OSBI special agents to investigate an allegation of sexual abuse on a child by a Woodward police detective.


The OSBI opened the investigation in mid-July, and on Friday, August 11,2017, special agents arrested Patrick Gandara, 47, at the OSBI office in Woodward.


Gandara worked for the Woodward Police Department since 2013. Prior to working for Woodward P.D., Gandara worked in law enforcement in Arnett, Oklahoma; El Paso, Texas; and California.


Gandara was booked into the Ellis County jail.
