Pittsburg County man injured in accident Featured

On February 6, 2017 at approximately 6:18pm the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene of a one vehicle injury accident on Arrowhead Drive, approximately 2 miles east of Canadian in Pittsburg County.


According to the report, a 2001 Dodge pickup, driven by Michael Terney 55, from Canadian, OK. was southbound on Arrowhead Drive, exited the roadway to left and struck a tree.


Terney was transported by Tulsa Life Flight to St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.

He was listed in stable condition head and leg injuries.


According to the report:
Condition of Driver – Odor of alcohol present
Cause of Collision – Alcohol-DUI
Seat belts – Not in use
Airbags – Equipped did not deploy

The accident was Investigated by Trooper Mike Stafford, of the Pittsburg County Detachment of Troop D.
