According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Plano Texas man was injured on May 2, 2021 on State Highway 1, at 11:08 am, approximately 8 miles East of Talihina when he lost control of his 2007 Harley Davidson and failed to negotiate a left curve.
The motorcycle driver, Wayne Hughes 69, of Plano, TX was transported by Private vehicle to Choctaw Nation Hospital Emergency Room in Talihina and was later transported by be Medi-flighted to Plano, TX for multiple injuries.
