According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol an injury collision occurred on March 14, 2019 at approximately 7:03 pm on State Highway 2, ten miles north of Antlers, in Pushmataha County.

 

According to the report, a 2015 Peterbilt driven by Robert Landin age 33, of Poteau was traveling northbound on State Highway 2 and a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by Ronald Nitcher, 62 of Nashville, Kansas was traveling southbound.

 

The Dodge went left of center striking the Peterbilt truck, then the Dodge departed the roadway to the left and struck a tree.

Nitcher was pinned for approximately 20 minutes and was extricated by Antlers Fire Department and Moyers Fire Department using the Hurst Tool.

 

He was transported by Air Evac to Plano Medical Center in Plano, TX and was admitted in critical condition with head, trunk internal, trunk external, arm and leg injuries.

 

Landin was not injured.
