“This will be an open conversation to hear directly from community members about the current state of public education in Oklahoma,” McCane said. “Hearing different perspectives, ideas, and experiences will be essential in identifying solutions and strengthening our schools.”
McCane has also invited every sitting member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives and the Oklahoma Senate to collaborate with other lawmakers on ways to bolster public education in Oklahoma.
The forum will be Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 12 PM in Room 450 at the Oklahoma State Capitol. The public is invited.
