Several Injured in accident near Enterprise in Haskell County Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle accident with injuries occurred on August 15, 2019 at 11:05pm on State Highway 9 and State Highway 71 in Enterprise in Haskell County.


According to the report, 2011 Freightliner driven by Feliciano Rosas 58, of Katy, TX was eastbound on SH9 and a 2004 Ford Pickup driven by John David Thompson white male, of Stigler was northbound on SH 71. The report says that Rosas failed to stop at stop sign and struck the pick-up in the driver side door.


Thompson was pinned in the vehicle for approximately 20 minutes before being extricated by Brooken Fire Department.

 

He was transported by Air Evac to St Francis Hospital in Tulsa and was admitted in critical condition with head, arm, leg, trunk internal and trunk external injuries.


His passenger Steven D. Ishcomer, 54 of Oklahoma City, was transported by Pafford EMS to McAlester Hospital with arm injuries treated and released.


Another passenger, Virginia F. Hodge, 52 of Ada, was transported by Pafford EMS to McAlester Hospital with trunk internal, arm and head injuries treated and released.
