MUSTANG, Oklahoma  – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is assisting the Mustang Police Department with the investigation into the sexual assault and attempted kidnapping of an 8-year-old Mustang girl.

The incident between the suspect and the girl occurred on March 23, 2022 between 5 and 5:30 p.m. The girl and a friend were playing in the front yard of a home in the 600 block of West Elder Drive when the man pictured in the composite drawing stopped his vehicle and spoke to one of the girls. At that time, he forced the 8-year-old to touch him inappropriately as he attempted to pull her into his vehicle to abduct her. The girl was able to get away and the suspect drove off.

The suspect was driving a silver Chevrolet Spark with silver wheels and an unknown license plate. He is described as a having a fair complexion, heavy build, approximately 29-years-old with dark brown hair. The girl told police he was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and no pants.
