Stigler Woman dies from injuries she sustained in accident in Haskell County Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a Stigler woman died on September 13, 2019 from injuries she sustained in a two-vehicle accident on State Highway 9 and Fishcreek road, one half mile west of Stigler in Haskell County.

 

 

 

According to the report, a 2010 Chevrolet driven by Brandy Yaws, 43, of Stigler, was Westbound on SH9 and turned left onto Fishcreek Rd in front of a 2003 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Christen Holden 36, of Whitefield. Whitefield struck the Yaws vehicle on the passenger side.

 

 

 

Yaws was transported via AirEvac to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith Arkansas with head and trunk injuries and was admitted in critical condition and according to Sebastian County Coroner Kenny Hobbs she was pronounced deceased on 09-13-2019 at Mercy Hospital in Ft. Smith.

 

 


Holden was not injured.
