According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Fatality collision occurred on Sept 14, 2022, at approximately 3:55pm on OK Highway 31 at the intersection of OK-82, 8 miles east of Kinta, OK in Haskell County.
According to the OHP report, a 2019 Mack truck, driven by John Cosper 55, of Wister was eastbound on OK-31 and a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Amanda Mayo-Conrad 22, of Talihina was facing westbound on OK-31 and attempted to turn southbound onto OK-82 when the Mack Truck struck the Jetta on the passenger side and departed the roadway to the right.
Conrad was pronounced deceased at the scene. Cosper was not injured.
The accident was investigated by OHP, assisted by Haskell County Sheriff’s Office, Pafford EMS, and the Lequire Fire Department.
